ABOUT ME
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m Genevieve, an artist and designer from Upstate NY. My usual style is modern, clean, and colorful with a feminist and environmentalist flair, combined with illustrative aspects from my fine arts background.

I graduated from Nazareth College in May of 2023 with a BS in Visual Communication Design (graphic design) after doing my first three years at the University of Buffalo. While at Nazareth, I took an internship and a subsequent job with Moyal Enterprises LLC. Through Moyal and my freelance work, I’ve been able to design for a variety of companies including Acara Healthcare, Nancy Lieberman Charities, and the American Cancer Society. In recent years, I've started corporate work and my sole proprietorship. I continue to work full-time and pursue freelance work on the side.

Personally, I'm passionate about human and animal rights, environmental protection, protection for artists in the digital age, and health and wellness. I have one tuxedo cat, my beloved boy Eddie, who keeps me company while I work, and two more family cats. In my free time, I enjoy video games, illustration (doodling), and walks with my friends when the weather allows.

WHY "ROANA?"
Roana /row-on-uh/
”Roana” is a custom, shortened version of Latin's “Roanna.”

The name Roanna is derived from the Latin word “rosa,” meaning rose, and is often associated with grace and beauty. It embodies both elegance and strength, often symbolizing love and a youthful spirit (Ancestry).
